Energy Australia commissions iTa to upgrade proven Intervoice IVR's to VoiceXML. According to Stephen Jackson, iTa's NSW Manager, "The upgrade will provide Energy Australia with iTa's ifor-speech xHMI VoiceXML framework running on the latest Intervoice Voice XML platform. This will bring the technology infrastructure up to date and will provide Energy Australia with flexibility to extend and enhance the touch-tone IVR applications as business needs change.
