After a long period of trialling biometric authentication Centrelink have launched biometric based speaker authentication across the self service application suite.  iTa partnered with Telstra and Nuance to enhance the existing self service application suite to take advantage of voice biometric technology   Higher security credentials, simpler caller experience and improved contact centre efficiency are key outcomes being delivered using this new capability.   See media coverage on the solution here
